Frequently Asked Questions

1. What age groups do you work with, and when can my child begin?

We work with children, adolescents, and adults, with programs thoughtfully tailored to each individual’s developmental stage, confidence level, and long-term goals in the water.

Children may begin as early as four months old. Early, guided exposure to the water fosters natural comfort, breath awareness, and foundational safety skills during a critical stage of development.

Families are often surprised by what young children — even infants — are capable of when instructed with patience, precision, and intention. With the right approach, our youngest clients develop remarkable confidence and water familiarity far earlier than most expect.

2. Who are your programs designed for?

Our programs are designed for families who value private, high-level instruction in a focused, distraction-free environment. We specialize in working with children and adults who require personalized attention, accelerated skill development, and a refined learning experience.

3. Where do lessons take place?

We provide private instruction at your home or private facility. All clients must have access to a suitable pool that meets our safety and quality standards.

4.  Where do you travel for instruction?

Rodgers Elite Aquatics serves a limited number of private clients in Long Island, Miami, and Orlando.

Select travel engagements are considered by request and reserved for families seeking long-term, high-level instruction. All travel arrangements are coordinated discreetly and are subject to availability within our carefully maintained client roster.

5. Do you offer group lessons?

No. Rodgers Elite Aquatics is intentionally structured around one-on-one instruction to ensure precision coaching, rapid progression, and an uncompromising standard of excellence.

6. Why choose private instruction over traditional swim programs?

Private instruction allows for focused attention, accelerated skill development, and a level of personalization that simply cannot be replicated in group environments. Every session is strategically designed around the individual — resulting in measurable progress and lasting confidence.

7. Is a full program really necessary?

Lasting progress in the water requires consistency. Our structured series ensures skill retention, safety awareness, and technical refinement — rather than temporary improvement from sporadic sessions.

8. How are your programs structured?

We offer curated lesson series rather than single-session bookings. This ensures consistency, measurable progress, and a meaningful transformation in confidence and skill.

9. What results can we expect?

While every client progresses at their own pace, families can expect significant improvements in confidence, body control, breath management, and technical execution. Our approach is built around mastery — not shortcuts.

10. How do we begin?

We start with a brief consultation to understand your goals, experience level, and scheduling needs. From there, we recommend the appropriate program and reserve your placement in our limited client roster.
